Spoiler:

Spoiler:

old bridge sitting discarded, unused, and abandoned in the process of being stripped for track bed and rails

1mtvfan wrote:update,
electrical issues continue, looks like a controller block has burned out on one side, so that is the reason for the inside track ceasing function, so all we can do is sit it out and wait for a new controller block to arrive for replacement.

1mtvfan wrote:further update,
the inside track power issue will be solved tonight, and a 3rd control box will be added for the phase 3 sections, which means they will not have to be added later.

1mtvfan wrote:the problem has already been mentioned, it is the one side of the Selector control box, but this was bound to happen as the 2 independent lines were wired into this 50 year old selector box, so it was only a matter of time before it burned out, it is a wonder the whole box didn't burn out completely, but it is also a wonder it didn't burn out when it was first installed over 3 years ago.

That is cool, glad you guys found the issue. That sounds like a really good selector box if it worked over 50 years Very Happy.

now what's left is finishing helix risers, more bench work to support the last half of the upper

as well as wire in a jumper wire to the double crossover switch on the 2nd level to get some power past a certain point.

now all that is left is to complete the helix, add more bench work for the upper reverse loop, add a 3rd drop bridge to the upper reverse loop as well as roadbed and tracks, as well as figure out why the outer throttle is not powering the upper level. so the progress is going very well.

Lastly, 7835 has suffered yet another breakdown, and this one may not be fixable by me, but i have 3 other locomotives that work fine so i am not worried much about it, but if i can, i willt ry and see about some repairs, if theya re possible, picture of new cradle follows tomorrow, or Wednesday at

the piece of pipe now sits in a custom made cradle that runs from end to end of the
