Hello everyone,

I know the Walking Dead is currently a very popular TV Show (on AMC), so I figured I would create a topic just for Walking Dead Discussions!

You can post anything relating to the Walking Dead here. Discussion related to it's spin off show Fear The Walking Dead or it's comedy after show Talking Dead are also permitted in this topic.

true, but as they're running out of new ideas, it's very likely that this show won't last past season 10,
but 10 seasons is still a very substantial length of time

I know its alot of time, but if the walking dead still makes money, they will continue it one way or another.

viewership is how a show makes money, and when people stop watching it, the show stops being made. but once the show becomes no longer interesting, viewership will decline, which will most likely be the case for this show after season 10

Once again, maybe and maybe not. Hollywood has lots of guys that's only job is to come up with interesting ideas.

If Hollywood wants to keep a show alive, then it will find a way of keeping alive.

There are tons of shows that are over 15 seasons long and STILL going. Only time will tell.

granted, but if they keep using up the good ideas, it's going to be hard to keep the show going after season 8, let alone season 10, should it survive that long, but it's still to be seen if that "Eugene" Character actually makes it to DC to find a cure, so if that's going to happen, there has to be at least a season 8, who knows, the "cure" that Eugene knows about may be nothing more than a placebo designed to give everyone false hope

Lol Eugene is not a scentist, he doesnt know of any cure. He just wanted to get to DC because he figures it is the safest place.

We established this last season, way before Alexandria happenend.

Doesn't mean their isn't the possibility there could be a cure out there or maybe a real scentist or doctor with the brains to make one. Who knows.... They are not doomed yet.

true, but it's unfortunately a wait and see thing again, even if you hate when i say that, it's the only way to look at it

Indeed we will see... Like I said, if the show ia still making money after season 10, it will keep going, if it doesn't it won't.

I actuay do think there is a decent chance it might get past 10 seasons, I mean if they figure it out where they can find a cure or something, then it is just the after math of finishing off the dead which might take awhile.

Anyway, getting back to the actual story of the show now... Alot sure has happened in sich a short time and now there is a war coming.. A big one and Rick and the group WILL win it.

not the first time they've had to fight for things, this is only another fight for them, they've had fights before, but perhaps not as big as this new fight coming up.

Indeed, they have combat experience and have experience with surprise raids on big towns (the governor as we remmeber), however, what is a bit different this time is that they will be raiding un familar turf, they dont know what weapons that town may have, how many peopls they may have, etc. Plus in the raid against the governers town, they had the added luxury of tear gas from the prison, something they wont have this time around. The group WILL win, but its going to be a tough, brutal fight to the end, thats for sure.

even without tear gas, they can overcome adversity, they've done it before, and can do it agan

I know that, as I said, they will win. I just wanted to point out the small little differences between the raids they have done in the past with opposing groups and towns and the raid they are about to do.

They will win in the end though, they have been through too and have too much weaponry, man power, leadership and combat experience not to.

the only raid that our group has done was the raid on Wood-bury back in season 3, which will be the setting for my piece of writing, as i am adding two characters, that will plan to take out the governor before Michone does at the end of season 4

That was an incredible episode for sure, Rick and the group kicked some major hinnies, but it seemed they missed some because those lived kidnapped Maggie. It will be interesting to see how Rick and the group approach getting her back, but I don't foresee it being with their hands in the air in surrender, Rick and the group are not known to surrender to anyone under any cermistances , so I am sure they will come up with some sort of plan that would get Maggie out safely but allow them to kill the rest at the same time.

going to be another exchange situation, but it's going to be another tough choice, because rick has to barter for 3 lives now, and the episode was intense enough to make me want to see it again next sunday
