[Contest] Poetry Contest results!

At each glance in the mirror, I wilt with inner tears.
With a hard gaze, I shatter the glass, but not my fears.
Each loved one redirects my eyes to the real flesh of me,
So that I know that it is what my mind chooses to see.

It doesn’t matter, anyway, because I will deteriorate.
My reflection of scars and distortion forever dominate.
And as all others see my shell, my smooth, fair skin,
I will see the disease, the virus that devours me from within.

At the station in a rain shower,
waits a locomotive of great power,
on its wheels have been placed many an hour.

as pressure builds in its pipe,
up close one can see it's a 4-6-4 type.

from its stack smoke may spew,
but keeping wary are the crew,
as they oil bearings and check the firebox flue.

wood coal or oil it may burn,
but to get anywhere its wheels have to turn,
and on it many had to learn.

when come the clearance nods,
with a great hiss of steam turn the rods.

Staring off with a great steam cloud,
it's quite often loud.

but it's a sight indeed so fine,
to see it thunder full steam down the main line.

For the one I love
There's a certian person that I truly love,
And her love for me can be as soft as a dove.
She can make the darkest situation bright as day;
And this also helps to keep my scariest fears away.

She's very strong despite the cruelty of fate,
And is completely incapable of jealousy and/or hate.
This makes my love for her completely honest and true;
Plus the loss of this love would make me feel GREATLY blue.

Losing a person that's so COMPLETLY unique from my life,
Would probably fill me with MAJOR feelings of uncertainty and strife.
Because her ability to be herself despite the pressure to conform;
Is why I love her to almost no end, which is far against the norm.

But I don't care how this makes other people think, not at all,
And to them I say this, "LEARN TO TAKE A FALL!!!"
Because she and I are so perfect for each other;
Its my SINCERE hope that she doesn't leave me for another.
