supports for the upper reverse loop of phase 3, using metal rod in place of the beefy wooden supports because the wood supports would interfere with the train operation

what's left to do is the new drop bridge, and the line beyond that, as well as the helix and the reverse loop which will tie back into the upper line somehow, but that has yet to be worked out.

not too sure where you're getting that "kick" from Brandon, but model railroading is quite fun and I for one am very glad that I caught this bug.

Re: Train sets!
that's the upper loop remember, also, with the height added, it may allow my Gopro
the clearance to go through the helix within it the clear plastic case it fits in, but it is not

Oh cool! I look forward to seeing some video if you can get it to fit.
Re: Train sets!
once again it will have to be tested, but i know it will not fit through the bottom of phase 2 unless I film with it out of the case, and i don't know how that will go

Yep, I hope it fits .
Re: Train sets!
it's really amazing how a fraction of an inch can throw everything off, it really is, because the case of my gopro has a tab on the bottom which allows it to slide and secure into mounts, which i will have to show you all so you know what i am talking about, but i can't add the mount onto the depressed center flat car because it will make the COG too high and the car will tip over, but i will do what i can to bring you all with me on the helix, but the loop is pretty self explanatory. one more part added to the helix in the testing phase, yet to be secured
[Only mods are allowed to see this link]
2nd drop bridge with the hardware in place to hold it up.
[Only mods are allowed to see this link]
2 model shipping containers, a 48'(scale feet) stacked on a 53'(also scale feet) container
[Only mods are allowed to see this link]
four 20' (again scale feet) containers on my 89' (scale feet) flatcar
and i say scale feet because all of these are miniature versions of their real life counterparts,
and they are made from the blueprints used to build the real life versions

Re: Train sets!
As of 12/25/15, the following additions have been made to the train set:
3 new steam locomotives
2 industrial buildings (a pickle factory as well as a generic one)
I forgot to mention this on 12/5/15, but the setup has a 3rd railroad station along with some merchandise stores and a footbridge. It also has platform/street lighting, but the set hasn't been installed and wired up as of yet.

I don't think anyone mentioned anything about a foot bridge?
P.s Guys if you any trouble uploading images today and possibly tommorow, its due to a tech problem FM currently is experiencing .
