Yep... so that is the switch... I always thought you meant an actual switch (like a light switch) not Switch TRACKS
Re: Train sets!
well that's how a train will access sidings and spur lines, but it is a common word used, so it's hard to know what is meant, at least to those non railroad folks

Re: Train sets!
thanks for the link bond, but there are two things wrong with it.
1.) its in the wrong spot
2.) All links need to be approved before they can be posted.
Good photos btw

The link is in his signature... not his post, bond was trying to post an image or youtube video, but video or image is broken... therefore not appearing.TigerTankFan wrote:thanks for the link bond, but there are two things wrong with it.

our old club folded long ago, but the old leader loved the company of myself and tigertankfan at his own home for running sessions, he will be greatly missed by both of us.

Oh... ok. Sounded like a great kind fellow that knew what he was doing with trains. I am sure he will dearly and greatly missed. May his soul continue to live peacefully and happily in the great beyond.
Re: Train sets!
He had some really awesome model trains too, most of which are no longer made now... I for one sure hope that somebody will preserve them and keep them in operational condition.

Why not you guys? Does he have any family left or someone looking after his stuff? If not and he had no will, maybe you guys would be perfect for the job .
Re: Train sets!
he does have family, but i do not think they have any interest in model trains, but knowing them, they may just wish things to stay as they are in the two rooms of his house that he used for his trains, but without further discussion, this is uncertain at this time
