further update, rock face plan has suffered a setback, will have to try again with it

Update, the 2-10-2 has been re-numbered from 2102. It now officially known as 900.

well, then you can change the numbers on the pics it's in

rock faces plan is back is motion, am trying a new form of plaster, will see in a couple of days how it turns out to see how it worked for the first one and will keep on with it for future rock faces, also, first test of the new DCC system is scheduled for tonight. am hoping for good results.

Sounds like quite a bit of progress has been made recently?

yes, but still have to keep testing with the rock faces and the DCC, which has passed the intial test, and can run Analog locos also, but it';s better to run DCC locos because the Analog locos just Growl and howl under the DCC control, and it gets very irritating, and is very dangerous for the
locomotives themselves, pictures follow.

the rock faces still have to be secured in place after more are made, if i can get the right mix of plaster to make them come out of the mold in one piece like that first one in the pic

another rock face is being cast today, will be taking it out of the mould later today

6th or 7th try at a rock face has failed again, took it out of the mould and it fell to pieces yet again, so my stand is to let it sit and wait until the building resumes, even it it takes all summer

Hey! Dont give up, I am sure you will get it right one of these days .

well, it may as well wait, since there's going to be no work done on the setup until mid to late October

Oh? Why?

The main builder of the setup has employment obligations until the month mentioned. As a result, no work will be performed on the setup.

well, there is just the landscaping to do, as well as few other small things to tie down, so it's really a winter thing, but my stand is still the same

Oh did your Dad get that summer job at that summer camp back again?

it's not a summer camp, it's a graveyard job for the summer, so until that ends foe the summer, the train set remains bare, and without my attendance

It really makes no sense to me why 1mtvfan is refusing to attend operating sessions, but I guess that such is a choice that he has made.

just me, and my choice that I've made, but if there is a session tonight, i am going. the builder
is the one making the final say however, and BNSF 7635 will be coming back soon as it still needs its couplers reinstalled before it's first post repair test

We all have choices that we make, so I guess 1mtvfan just decided to make the choice not to attend them. Nothing wrong with that.

tested the new locomotive with DCC installed, but couldn't get it to move, will talk to the original owner about it and see if another try is in order, new pic follows also.
