What is Instragram?

Hello,

I wanted to know exactly what Instagram is? I hear people speak about all the time. I have never checked the site out nor do I have any intention of doing so. is it like twitter or something? Maybe another Myspace or facebook?

Instagram appears to a be form of social media, it is owned by Facebook, and it is connected to all the other forms of social media, twitter, Faceboook, etc.

I use it semi-frequently. It's pretty much an image-uploading social media network. The concept is quite simple but it's pretty nifty.

Yes, it is used to nothing, privatelly owned then facebook bought it revived it and made popular.

I never used it either, don't think I ever will.

Instagram is a photo-sharing app. for many people the best one...it is known for its virtual lack of a website and all the filters
the point is to make connections with people who see the world in interesting ways..To find and follow people based on the kinds of images that inspire them, and if they like yours, they’ll follow you back
Basically its perfect for the smartphone age thats why Facebook bought it

I tried instagram for 5 minutes, when I realizex everything HAD to be done through the app, I got rid of it. I for one don't like being forced to use apps. I like apps being optional, not manadatory. If I had to download an app for every site I use, my phone would be out of space.

Since I am not familiar with how Instagram works, I have freely decided to not use it.
