Hello everyone.
I have just returned from my latest trip which was a weekend at another lake (as of 1:55 PM CDST on 5/23/201). The plan to visit the lake I usually go to is still in place but this trip is, according to the aforementioned plans, taking place in July. Such is NOT guaranteed however, and could be cancelled due to some government-related BS or other plans. I will try and let people know about this REGARDLESS of what happens.

That is good, did you have fun on your recent trip? And I hope you get a chance to go again .

Unfortunately I didn't get to do all that much due to lack of experience with boats and canoes as well as cold and rainy weather but I enjoyed the trip nonetheless. 
For those that want to know, here is the building that I stayed in (along with my mother and twin brother).

Sounds a good trip apart from not doing any boating at all. Not sure how it will go with this summer if it will change for going out on the lake or even camping. Just see what happens and see what they decide to do. I know I haven't been camping or on a lake in a long time. Looking forward to the next update when ever it may be

I will be going on my usual road trip to the other lake in July. Such is NOT guaranteed however, as the government could still impose more of their damned restrictions.

Well hopefully it will be getting better by July. Hopefully there is no restrictions if more people get the vaccine then hopefully it will be better by July when the summer trip is planned

Well it is about time. I hope there will more restrictions lifted. As I know people are getting vaccines and also second vaccines too. I still got get my second vaccine at some point as I did get my first vaccine already. Anyways hopefully it will work out with the lake trip. But we will see since it could improve in the summer time I hope

Yes it must be nice not to wear at mask at work any more. Hopefully it will happen soon here. I did hear July 5th but hopefully it will happen then. Apart from other things opening up as it has been a long time for all of that. I am just happy to see a movie in a theatres as that has been a long time for that too

Well there has been a by-law passed that says we don't need to wear a mask any more. I don't need to wear one at my work. I was wearing it in the store but taking it off while getting carts at my work. It seems you don't need to wear one any more but some people are still wearing masks. But it seems they want to be safe with a mask

It turns out that, due to circumstances beyond my control, I will not be going on my usual summer road trip until early August at the earliest. Naturally I'm disappointed about this but it can't be helped. This is the latest information on this matter folks (as of 2:45PM CDST on 7/15/2021).

Hello everyone!
I forgot to post on here upon my return but the 2021 lake trip didn't go exactly as planned. Such is the case due to my having to work cleaning the place up for at least 3 days plus the trailer I was staying had issues (a wasp's nest in its air conditioner, part of its floor was lifting plus there was a water leak in its ceiling). The wasp's nest has been destroyed and the source of the leak has been identified now, but a new issue has been discovered.

This trailer is 25 years old now (as of 2021), and the campground that its in has a strict rule that doesn't allow trailers older than 30 years. Unfortunately this means that it will need to be replaced soon and its owner doesn't have a lot of options in terms of newer trailers.

Thanks for the update on your trip. Not sure if you got any pictures or not. But maybe there was no time to take pictures on the trip

Hello again all,

Turns out that I will be spending another weekend at this trailer (which will start on Friday, October 1st and end on Sunday, October 3rd)! The cause of the leak in the trailer's celling was identified as a worn-out gasket around the roof-mounted combination AC/heating unit but it was only discovered during the time spent there. This has been corrected now and, aside from some issues with the heating, there will be no further leaks. The issue with the trailer's age and the campground's rules remains for now but I for one am going to try and ignore them. 

As always, I will let everyone know when I'll be going and tell everyone about how this final lake trip of 2021 went.

Hello all!

Turns out that my last lake trip of 2021 went quite well. Unfortunately one of the cats that I was staying with went missing for a while and this caused some tense moments (since she is 19 years old and has arthritis). Thankfully this only lasted a day however, and she was found by another family spending time in the campground who had cats of their own (she was returned to her owner). The trailer age thing remains unresolved for now, but it will be addressed in about two years. I'm hopeful that these trips will continue but the owner of the trailer I stayed in has expressed interest in selling out and moving to another location (as some other people have done). Regardless of what happens, I will do what I can to keep people informed.
