i am also still looking for some more cylindrical grain hoppers, and also anything of interest in the way of model buildings and track-side scenery, so feel free to offer some up if you have any laying about or know how to come about them

update, i now have 2 grain hoppers in the shop, CPWX 425180 is in for a refit, the other is in for a rebuild.

a lady friend of mine in NJ might be sending me two more cylindrical grain hoppers and i may be able to get one for myself and @Tigertankfan from my buddy with the hobby and business

recent update, no cylindrical hopper from @djmarverlousmart for a while, will have to wait for my lady friend in NJ to look for a pair of them for my Bday and Xmas gifts, although it's not the end of the world, but i know he will keep looking for me another time

@djmarverlousmart is going to keep trying, with that, he is looking at another grain hopper for me, it is not cylindrical, but it is one that will work the same, so my grain train becomes a few more cars longer, once i get the new grain hoppers, as swell as the refitted one and the rebuilt one, but i may be parting with one of my grain hoppers, i just don't know yet

update,
@djmarverlousmart has found another cylindrical hopper for my grain train, so it makes my grain train one car longer, but it's going to have to wait to get to me first, along with the ones from my lady friend in NJ, so with those 3 new cars, it'll make my grain train 26 cars long, hope i can get all my locos to pull it, i still may also be parting with one of my grain hoppers, but i will keep it for now until i can find a better quality one in the same road name.

Latest update here all,

The last of the setup's lumber is probably going to be removed by the end of this week. As for my take on 1mtvfan's decision to sell one of his grain hoppers, I feel that he is making a mistake but such is up to him.

as i said, i may hang onto it for a while, i may not sell it all, but as it is an item from a lower quality brand, i am looking to replace it with an item from a higher quality brand, but as that may take a while, i am probably going to hang onto it for a while

I also have to say that our combined grain train could have up to 46 cars, but only has 42 of them as 4 cars are currently inactive (due to needing a rebuild and/or the completion of a physical refit).

I will see what i can get in the way of cash for that grain hopper, but once i can replace it with something of higher quality, if i get $5 or less for it, i will probably just keep it, even if it does not get run much, but as it stands right now, i am at 22 grain hoppers, although i may get to pick from the list of inventory from my buddy's hobby store, and select one or two from that inventory, plus one coming from @djmarverlousmart and my lady friend in NJ, which will give me 25. and yes, the lumber is being piled up in preparation to be moved out, i was piling it during my visit there earlier tonight, what a difference in the space now, it now looks like the day my dad's parents first moved into the house back in 1987. And sadly, the desk that was used as the base for Phase 3 of the LCVRR is going to be dismantled and ditched, as there is no room for it in the 3rd floor space of the home that @TigerTankFan and i occupy.

update, old desk from the LCVR is now gone, site is looking sadder and sadder every day, still thinking the new layout won't get built until winter, or sometime next spring, summer 2018 continues to be miserable, and it's been made even more miserable now that @djmarverlousmart has decided to play stingy one me and not get that new grain hopper for me until i send him some stuff that i have for him, guess i'll have to wait for my buddy with the hobby store to bring in the new inventory of grain hoppers, and be happy with the one i get to pick out of that inventory, 23 grain cars for me again with that one, at least until i can get the ones from my NJ lady friend and CPWX425180 comes back from the refit to give me 27. #disappointed

lumber has begun to move from the liptonville site, still very sad to see some things get tossed into a dumpster, but my dad, being the control freak he is, has made the call on that

update,
a good chunk of the lumber from the LVCRR has now been moved out, site is getting more and more empty every day, but this is sadly the cost of selling a house, also hoping the new layout will be built soon, but not holding out much hope for that.RIP LIPTONVILLE

It is frustrating that nothing has come to pass in terms of the LCVRR's replacement, but what 1mtvfan keeps forgetting about is that the LCVRR's main builder (a.k.a. his dad) has other priorites to focus on at the present time plus there is a plan to give the new setup's home new paint. Unfortunately this plan is also stalled out at present.

all i will accept is the new layout when it is built, until then, i remain miserable, and i encourage TTFan to stop wasting time with the excuses, they are no longer accepted as a reason why things are not going the right way
