Not sure if this is the right section to post this, but is there a section for beginners? where one can go and see what it entails to set up a minimal broadcasting set up?
Such as a how to connect to a broadcasting site (ex Camup) equipment, software ect.
Everything in this site seems so spread out among all the different sections.

There is not, but we can offer tips if want.

You basically need 6 basic things to get started:

A computer (Duh)
Internet (Duh)
A Microphone
A broadcasting software (I use Open Broadcasting Software (OBS))
A webcam
Either a Mixer or Stereo Mix activated (the latter only if you have a windows pc).

If you go the mixer route, @DJAaronRadio can provide better advice on that than I can. Wink

I hope these tips are helpful in helping you get started in streaming. DJ  Microphone  Headphones picking u  DJ Rocking Emoticon  DJ Very Happy

1 it depends on the type of computer you have a Desktop or a Laptop and 6 how you planning on hooking up the mixer either though mini plug to RCA or USB into the computer cuz for one on a desktop you can patch a mixer though the Line in on your computers soundcard and then hook up what ever else you need like turntables CD Players ect. in patching a normal DJ mixer you need to find the record out on the mixer in this case you will need to hook it up into the Line in on your computer now to feed the sound from the computer into the mixer you also need another cable to go into your speaker out/Line out on your computer all other channels you hook up as follows if you want other things turntable 1 Phono 1 turntable 2 Phono 2 and so on my board maybe different then your but they all work the same some have more channel then others so pay attention Smile
