Camup General Discussion

First topic message reminder :

Hello everyone,

I make this topic today to help us get a discussion on Camup.tv going.

Camup is a pretty good site, it has both html5 and flash video players, a decent chat, free stream keys and even guest cams (though you have to become a 'donator' to activate this now)

Do any of you guys use Camup? How do you like it? I will provide my experience with it in the next post.

Maybe they had problems with it.

yes they have tester it don't work well with HTML5 yet it's been an off and on problem since late 2017.

I was live on the BGRN's camup channel this past Thursday (5/23/2019) and it remains a pretty good place to cast... so far.

Indeed its a great site both feature wise and functionality wise.

when i first used camup back in 2017 it had alot of the features for free cams where free at the time as well i think emotes where the only paid feature at the time since then times have changed to keep the server bills paid

Well their annual fee of 30 dollars isn't alot at all so.

yep very true that's why i like the site cuz it's Cheap if you want to have cams and other features

That is just one of many great things about Camup for me.

i agree with that brandon it's a good site with better features i been there since my joined date i think it was June 15th of 2017 so that anniversary is coming up soon i might have something planed for that when it comes up i will be on camup for 2 years from the actual joined date

My 1 year anniversary of 'joining' camup passed last month. However the one year of me indefinitely casting on the site will be coming up in a couple months.

I was checking out DJ Aaron's boredom show on Camup this past Tuesday (6/4/2019) and he was having a lot of issues. Sure hope that Camup isn't getting glitchy.

well what ever it was i hope it don't happen again i think i had restarted my stream like 3 or 4 times i have never had to do that during a show normally i don't have to restart it at all it was one show i don't want to have to experience again like i did last night

Chances are it was your connection at fault. You know how sensitive your internet connection can be Aaron.

could be brandon it could also have been having my audio bitrate to high as well that can also cause the stream to randomly buffer as well or a combo of the 2 but it should be fixed by friday tho when i do the flagship

Yeah thats why I keep everything at the lowest setting as it makes the audio and video less prone to issues arising from a connection hiccup.

well as of friday i only had one issue and that was a connection issue so the bitrate issue for the audio is fixed but the connection issue is now becoming a pain but i think will manage

update it held up just fine show had 0 issues and only 94 frames dropped i say it was a very good night show wise

Glad you were able to resolve your issues there Aaron.

ya i had no idea but also after i cleaned out the computer it has been running without buffer issues so could have also caused that to due to thermal throttling so that is kind of fixed for now at least

Yeah it is always good to clean out dust from your pc once and awhile as this can lead to overheating or minor performance issues.

Anyway, any new features or stuff happening over at Camup?
