I used to have a usb logitech headset..... but it broke... now I have a logitech desktop microphone

Wow... this thread is REALLY old, like from 2011! I think the best Skype microphone is one with noise cancellation, and the ability to adjust the settings the way you like it!

i just use the internal one that comes with a web cam. always works for me

Have you ever tried a headset or other form of microphone? Or have always used your webcam Microphone? Webcam microphones are usually good as an absolute last resort. But they do get the job done for skype conversations.

i do also have a USB Headset mic, they work pretty well also

I used to use the mic that was included on a Pluto webcam, but I've been using an APEX440 USB microphone for talking on Skype for quite some time now.

i use my headset for skype sometimes, it works quite well, once i get the setup right

How does it need to be set up?

i didn't have to do much, just plug it in and set the skype audio onto the head set

As far as I know, Apex440 is the name of the mic that I use.
