Train sets!

well when things start turning black, and smelling like mold and mildew, painting is about the only thing to do. will add some more new pics for you all after my work tonight, work for phase 3 has now begun, or is in motion to begin.

yes, but the planning for this still needs to iron out some rough spots, as there are many to be addressed. aside from that, it should be smooth sailing, and as i promised, the pics are here now.

Nice photos! I love them. I like the train on the 2nd level and the flat car one.

Is that last one the flat car you spoke of?

yes, that is my new 89' "all purpose" flatcar, and it is set to haul 2 40' containers, but if i wanted to, i could set it up to haul 4 20 foot containers, or i could have left the trailer hitches in the "up" position and get more trailers, but for now, it will stay as a COFC flatcar. Also, i may be wrong on this, and will have look it up, but i think the other maker of an 89 foot "all purpose" flatcar aside from AccuRail is a company called Atlas, but like i said, i am not certain.

well if you do look it up, you may get the Walthers listings, so just ignore those, but i know for sure that Accurail makes one, i am unsure if Atlas makes one or not

that's an 85 foot, not an 89 foot, but yes, Atlas still makes an 89 foot "all purpose" flatcar, as does Accurail. BLMA makes an 89 foot flatcar, but not an "all purpose" one, which is disappointing, because Tigertankfan really wants one if he can get one

Ok good. So is the 2nd layer almost done or finished? I see there was a train stopped on it... so I take that means it is almost there.

that train on the 2nd level is parked there, but the 2nd level is partly complete, all that has to be added is the reverse loop, helix, and freight yard, but i think the freight yard will be added first, then will come the connections and access points to it. but if there is no other way to get an 89 foot "all purpose flat for Tigertankfan, i will let him borrow one or both of mine, unless he declines the offer.

I thought you said there were other companies that still made them?

i did, but now that Walthers is out of the game, the only two to make the "all purpose" flatcar are Accurail, and Atlas. and, updating everyone on the setup, the yard area is now under construction, pics are here for you all

Why can't you buy tigertankfan a used one then? I am sure there are some out there.

Also the pictures look great. Construction is underway, nice.

worth a look, if i can find a used one in decent shape, although right now he is ok without. also, there is some more work to do as the freight yard will be added in an angular pattern, because there is a plan to add another Passenger station into the area.

just means it is going off on an angle from the standard
