Re: Train sets!
well, that's how it is working out, but as one project is completed, the next one is dealt with, and so on down the line

Well at least you will be kept busy.

What will this project entail? I mean I know what a drop bridge is but can't you build it off site and simply install it afterward?
Re: Train sets!
no, the drop bridge has to built on site, but it will be built soon

Why?
Re: Train sets!
the bridge is on site, so it will have to be built on site.

So it can't be built off site and moved on site?
Re: Train sets!
no, unfortunately it can't be, as the hardware for the drop bridge application is on site

Re: Train sets!
because it would add more work to the project, and would mean a lot more moving around, which would also add UN-needed time

Re: Train sets!
there's very little work involved with it at the mo, but if we start moving it around, it means work added unnecessarily, all we have to do is move some table legs back and add soe latches to keep the bridge in place when raised

So what is the order of the Agenda?
Re: Train sets!
just install what's left to install and make the adjustments for the drop bridge is all

Re: Train sets!
We hope to have two sets of permanently level track as almost all of the model equipment owned by Charlie and myself have been falling off the tracks at this part of the set-up quite a bit... and we're tired of seeing this happening.

Oh not good .
Re: Train sets!
The 1st situation is much more common than the 2nd situation actually.

Re: Train sets!
the trains come apart or fall off the track because the train track is often out of level, which is something of a constant fight because of the cement floor underneath the setup

Can the track in question be avoided until work is complete?
Re: Train sets!
no, when the trains run, they will be subject to troubles of this nature all the time, so we have to keep fighting with the leveling, as there is little we can do about the temperatures
