it's already operational, the power wires are already in place, but it's not complete enough to run a train around yet

Phase 2 of construction has been completed as of tonight. Work on phase 3 will be starting as soon as humanly possible.

then an error was made on my part, and i stand corrected. the reverse loop and helix are part of phase3, as is the freight yard

there is still some prep work to do in the planned phase 3 usage area, so that will be first, and then the construction will begin. although i am in the dark as to how much of the prep work i will be a part of

What does the prep work consist of?

Some old office furniture needs to be disposed of before primary construction of phase 3 can begin.

it shouldn't take too long to move the old desk that we have alongside our model train setup but, once its gone, there will be plenty of room to expand our layout.

we have begun clearing the area planned for phase 3, so this will take a few weeks, but the construction will begin when the area is clear

it's more a matter of priority, because if the drop bridge is placed under construction, it means the trains have to stop running.
